Hezbollah launches massive rocket barrage at Israel a day after Biden envoy’s visit

Hezbollah militants and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) exchanged rockets on Tuesday after a senior White House adviser visited Beirut in a diplomatic effort to quell ongoing clashes.
The IDF said rockets were fired from Lebanon toward Israel in the Manara and Kiryat Shmona areas. In retaliation, IDF fighter jets attacked Taybeh, a town in southern Lebanon that the IDF said was being used as a launching pad by Hezbollah to carry out attacks on the Israeli town of Kiryat Shmona.
The IDF also said it attacked a Hezbollah anti-tank missile launch site in the village of Aarab El Louaizeh from where the launches were carried out in Kiryat Shmona.
And earlier that same day, IDF warplanes attacked a Hezbollah military compound in the Dibbine area, as well as terrorist infrastructure in Ayta ash Shab, another village in southern Lebanon.
