Why do I like L’Oreal Telescope Original Lengthening Mascara?
There is so much to love about this mascara. First of all, the price is unbeatable. While I love luxury beauty, there is nothing more exciting than finding a product at the drugstore that works just as well as the expensive stuff. That’s why this mascara is so great, especially if you’re on a budget.
Besides the price, the main reason I love this mascara is that it makes my lashes look long and defined. My eyelashes are not particularly short, but not particularly long either. Personally, I love the baby eye look, especially during the day when I’m not wearing heavy makeup, so this mascara is a winner for me. I think the photographs speak for themselves.
There are two reasons why this mascara lengthens and defines lashes so well. First of all, it’s a stick. It features a flexible rubber wand with short bristles that grip each lash. The slightly curved shape makes it easy to get as close to the lash line as possible. Because the brush is narrow, you can easily apply it to your lower lash line if you like the look (I definitely do). Secondly, the formula is not wet or cloudy, allowing for clump-free application. Yes, even if you apply several layers. Plus, the formula never fails, meaning you won’t have to constantly look in the mirror. It also comes in a waterproof version if you’re interested.
Before applying, I use an eyelash curler to give them extra lift as well as disposable reel (you can buy a multi-pack for just a few dollars on Amazon) or eyelash comb to further separate the lashes.
