Michael Avenatti ‘undecided’ on 2024 election after previously supporting Biden
Michael Avenatti enthusiastically endorsed Joe Biden in 2020 and was one of Donald Trump’s most prominent enemies during his presidency. Now, speaking from his California prison, he said he wouldn’t be able to choose between the two in November, if he had the chance.
“Frankly, I’m undecided,” Avenatti said. Fox News Digital.
He was particularly tough on Biden on two issues that have topped public concerns in 2024 polls: the border crisis and the economy.
“I think there are certain things that Biden has done that have been positive, and I think there are a number of things that he has done that have been negative,” he said. “I think the border situation is a disaster. I think it’s only a matter of time before someone crosses that border and commits a heinous crime in the United States. I certainly don’t expect that. “Don’t think your lying eyes can be the lyrics to a great song, but it is a terrible campaign strategy. Daniels’ attorney, Clark Brewster, responded that Avenatti was a “thrice-convicted felon of fraud, repeated acts of dishonesty and extortion” and was simply seeking relevance from his incarceration.
Avenatti repeatedly predicted in 2018 that Trump would not finish his first term, although he did.
