Soccer player Carli Lloyd is pregnant and expecting a baby with Brian Hollins

The U.S. Women’s National Team alumna is pregnant and expecting her husband’s first child. Brian Hollins after a long process of IVF (in vitro fertilization).
“Baby Hollins is due October 2024,” Carly began. Instagram post from May 1st. I share good news. “Getting to this point was not easy. We are very excited to become parents! I couldn’t have done this without my wonderful husband Brian. He really supported me.”
The 41-year-old continued: “We are so grateful for all the love and support we have received from our family and friends.”
In addition to her social media post, Carly also wrote essay for Women Health in which she described her journey to conceiving, including the difficulties she faced trying to get pregnant after retiring from football at the age of 39 and subsequent three rounds of IVF treatment.
“As a woman, I wanted to get pregnant naturally because that’s what our bodies should be able to do. “I felt like my body was failing me,” she wrote about trying to conceive, noting that this continued until she met with a specialist. Dr. Louis Manara that she feels ready to try IVF. “I was ready to take the next steps.”
