Former Lakers Darius Morris dies at 33
In 2013, Morris was assigned to the NBA G League team Los Angeles D-Fenders. In 2014, he played for the Philadelphia 76ers and also for the Memphis Grizzlies on short-term contracts. He then joined the San Antonio Spurs and then the Portland Trail Blazers before being waived in October of that year. Two months later, he signed with the Brooklyn Nets, playing for the team until mid-2015.
Since retiring from the NBA, Morris has played for other NBA G League teams, including the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, and has also been a player for teams in foreign leagues such as the Guangdong Southern Tigers of the Chinese Basketball Association and most recently the French LNB Pro.
