Reese Witherspoon’s daughter Ava Phillippe criticized comments about body shaming
Ava Philip has a message for some online trolls with cruel intentions.
May 3, Reese Witherspoon and ex-husband Ryan PhillippeThe singer’s 24-year-old daughter responded to people who shamed her on social networks.
“NBD but I just reached a major milestone as a woman on the internet,” she wrote in her post. TIK Tak video which shows her standing in front of a mirror and properly applying red lipstick before continuing to make it look smudged. “I saw two strangers commenting on my body.”
According to Ava, the comments were contradictory. “The first one said I should do Oz*mpic because I’m too fat,” she said. “The second one accused me of starving myself because I was too thin. My weight hasn’t changed in the time period between their comments. (and if that happened, it would be none of their business!)”
Ava continued: “This is such bullshit… No one deserves to be picked on because of what they look like. You don’t always know what someone has been through or what they are struggling with. But no matter who you are… beauty transcends such superficial measures.”
