Murder in Mahim

Murder at Mahim is a crime thriller based on homophobic sex crimes related to honey fishing where a gay sex worker is murdered in the toilet of Mahim railway station. The show stars Vijay Raaz and Ashutosh Rana, a police officer and former journalist who work to solve the case. The long-running eight-episode series is set in Mumbai in 2013, when homosexuality was considered a crime.

While the show feels a bit drawn out and predictable with its cliche plots, tried-and-true loopholes and obvious social commentary in the beginning, it soon turns into a work of art with powerful performances that can’t be overlooked. If you have a little patience with Murder at Mahim, at least until the third episode, you’ll be in for a cinematic treat that effortlessly tackles even the toughest themes like father-son relationships.

Undehi season 3

Undehi follows the Atwals, a powerful and wealthy clan of Manali who have now become more vengeful and cruel than ever. In season three, hidden secrets come to the surface, causing exciting encounters, an emotional rollercoaster and even more drama. The main characters include Harsh Chhaya, Surya Sharma, Anchal Singh, Ankur Rathi and Dibyendu Bhattacharya.

Apple TV’s latest sci-fi series follows Jason Dessen, a physicist, professor, and everyday family man who is kidnapped one night into an alternate version of his life. He is stuck among the possibilities of different lives he could have lived, and his previously mundane life turns into a hellish nightmare. The rest of the series follows the panicked physicist as he tries to reunite with his real family, who, interestingly, now have their biggest threat in him. Based on the acclaimed novel of the same name by Blake Crouch, Dark Matter stars Joel Edgerton, Jennifer Connelly, Alice Braga and Jimmi Simpson. Two episodes have been released on the platform and the rest will be released every Wednesday.

Doctor Who season 14

Doctor Who, one of the longest-running and most popular science fiction stories of all time, returns with another installment. The series features extraterrestrial Time Lords called Doctor Who who travel the universe in a time-traveling spaceship, often with their companions.

The season is touted as the fifth series to be helmed by Russell T. Davies as head writer and executive producer, the fourteenth season to air since the program’s 2005 revival, and the fortieth season overall.

The new season stars Ncuti Gatwa as the Fifteenth Doctor and Millie Gibson as his flamboyant new assistant. The duo embarks on a journey through time and space, meeting remarkable allies and facing formidable foes.
