How to Save Full Page Screenshots as Images on Your iPhone

Have you ever come across a web page so informative that you wish you could keep the entire thing, not just what you see on the screen? Well, you’re in luck. Today, we’re diving into the nifty trick of capturing a full-page screenshot that’s much larger than the screen real estate of your iPhone.

When you took a screenshot in iOS 16 and earlier, you usually had the option to save it as a PDF. Starting with iOS 17, you’ll see the Save to Photos option. This will allow you to save the entire page of your screenshot as an image if you wish. This only requires a couple of steps. Here’s how to save a full page screenshot as an image in iOS 17. How to Capture a Full Page Image on iPhone

  • Open the app or website you want to capture as a full page screenshot
  • press the Power and volume up buttons simultaneously to take a screenshot. You will see a preview of the screenshot in the lower left corner of the screen.
  • Play the Advance to open the screenshot editor. You will see two options at the top: Screen and full page
  • Tap on Full page to view full page screenshot or click Screen just to see the visible part of the screen

  • You can use the slider right to scroll through the full page screenshot. You also can crop, annotate either share the screenshot.

  • To save the entire page or screen as an image, tap Made in the top left-hand corner.
  • Then click Save to Photos
  • Now, open the photo app
  • You can see it in the Screenshots Album in the Photos app or Album of all photos if iCloud Photos is turned on Settings > Photos.
