‘Star Trek’ Actor Zachary Quinto Criticized for Being Rude to Restaurant Staff: ‘He Made Our Host Cry’

“Star Trek” actor Zachary Quinto came under fire for his behavior at a Toronto restaurant over the weekend.
Manita on Ossington Ave took to Instagram on Sunday to call the star an “entitled child” while eating at her establishment.
“Zachary Quinto: an incredible Spock, but a terrible client,” his statement began, referencing his role in “Star Trek.”

“He yelled at staff like an entitled child after failing to respond to two text messages informing him that his table was ready and refused to believe that empty tables in the dining room were not available to him even though they politely informed him that they were busy,” the message continued.

“It made our host cry and the rest of our brunch diners uncomfortable,” they continued.

“Mr. Quinto, take your bad vibes somewhere else, we have many lovely celebrities joining us at Manita, but you are NOT one of them,” concluded the message, which was shared on the restaurant’s Instagram story. They also tagged Quinto’s Instagram account.

The Toronto-based restaurant doubled down on its statement and shared a second message. on social networks on Monday.

“This is not the first time nor will it be the last time that an angry guest takes out their frustrations on our staff,” the message read. “Manita is deeply grateful for our mostly amazing, kind and courteous guests…who can provide us with constructive feedback from time to time.”
They continued: “To everyone else Zachary Quintos, on behalf of restaurant workers everywhere: we are not above criticism, but we are above being demoted.”

Representatives for Quinto did not respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
Quinto celebrated his 47th birthday on June 2 and documented his celebrations on his Instagram Story.
