Zoho delivers major improvements to developer tools and launches analytics and apps platform

This morning, Zoho announced significant upgrades to its Zoho Catalyst development platform, and also introduced Zoho Apptics, a new app analytics tool aimed at professional developers.
The announcement was made at the annual Zoholics conference in Austin, Texas.
Zoho’s latest developments represent a pivotal shift in how custom applications are built and analyzed, providing developers with more cohesive and comprehensive tools. Raju Vegesna, chief evangelist at Zoho, explained the company’s approach: “Developers have been challenged by the need to piece together custom solutions from disparate tools. Our goal with these improvements is to deliver a complete and reliable toolset that supports developers from the beginning of a project to its end.
Catalyst by Zoho, a platform that makes it easy to quickly build, test, and deploy complete, market-ready applications, now offers new features aimed at simplifying development processes. These include:
- signals: A tool for managing events from different sources, and directing them to the appropriate processors.
- NoSQL database: A flexible database system that supports different data types, scales them dynamically, and accommodates growth as needed.
- List: A service for creating custom user interfaces using popular web frameworks.
- CI/CD pipeline: A system that automates testing and deployment processes, reducing time to market.
Along with improvements to Catalyst and Zoho Zoho Apptics unveiled, an analytics platform designed to integrate seamlessly with existing development workflows. Apptics helps businesses develop data-driven strategies by providing comprehensive analytics on app usage, performance, and user engagement. The platform provides a unique feature that allows direct interaction with users to obtain reviews and updates and includes an integrated management system for app store reviews. By prioritizing privacy, Apptics ensures that user data is handled securely, in strict compliance with industry standards.
Zoho Apptics is now available globally, supporting multiple platforms including Android, iOS, macOS, and more, with plans to expand into web analytics. It offers a free tier and a professional tier, which starts at $62 per month when billed annually.
Zoho also reiterated its commitment to user privacy through the Zoho Privacy Pledge, emphasizing that the company operates without an advertising revenue model and maintains control of its data centers to ensure security and privacy.
These updates and new tools from Zoho are designed to simplify the development process for businesses of all sizes, and drive efficiency and innovation in application development.
