Golden Bachelorette’s Joan Vassos is getting ready for her rainbow journey

She continued: “It’s all a bit bittersweet because I’m leaving my family for seven weeks and it’s a bit scary. But, you know, at the end of the day, I could come back and maybe have the love of my life and someone to share my wonderful life with.”

When it comes to looking ahead to her Golden bachelorette party journey, Joan is preparing for any scenario that comes her way.

“I’m a little embarrassed, but look, I have a whole suitcase of shoes,” she explained. “I have no idea what the weather is like in California this time of year, so I pack a huge variety of clothes. I’ll admit to you that I actually have three full suitcases, which is just ridiculous.”

Despite not wanting to be away from her family in Maryland for nearly two months, Joan added that she won’t be completely away from them as they will be joining her “for a couple of days and filming some commercials.”

“I’m so proud of them,” she said, “and it gives me a couple more days with them.”

In the caption of her post, Joanne expressed her feelings about her upcoming new adventure. “Excited, nervous and overwhelmed… but mostly ready to begin this golden journey,” she wrote. “Feeling all these feelings as I pack up my things to start the next chapter at the Bachelor Mansion.”
