On Wednesday, June 12, Meghan took to Instagram to share carousel photos from her Hot Girl Summer tour. In addition, the rapper shared a lengthy message with her fans.
“Beauties, we are preparing for the release of my FIRST ALBUM UNDER HOTGIRL PRODUCTIONS, which will be released at 6.28. I want to tell you about some of my favorite things that happened on tour REALLY 🫶🏽,” she wrote before dropping the numbered items. “1. I appreciate and adore how hard my dancers (you hot girls) put up with each performance! I know our bodies hurt but they never complain and still jump out and have fun lol! Love all 2. I love the connection @glorillapimp and I have made over the past few weeks! You are my sister 4L, you and cola will never get rid of me 🥹3. @frenchie4oe YOU HAD CHILDREN! My son is a DADDY 😭 4. For point six, Megan explained that she was going to “pop” her dish “for a second.” The rapper subsequently addressed those who “wondered” “if she was an arena performer.”
“6. I’ll digress for a second lol but people wondered if I was an arena performer,” she wrote. “…idd I mean🤷🏽♀️ be quiet”
Finally, the beauty ended her long message with: “7. I have more people to thank and more moments to make, but I LOVE EVERYONE who has made this tour amazing so far! Thank you”

As The Shade Room previously reported, “The Breakfast Club” co-host Charlamagne Tha God shared his initial thought in May that Meg was not an “arena artist.” At the time, tickets for Meg’s Hot Girl Summer tour had just gone on sale, with tickets reportedly selling for $24.
Furthermore, Charla explained that he believed Meg was a “stage performer” rather than an arena performer.
“If she’s doing arenas, she shouldn’t be doing arenas. She’s not an arena performer. Shout out to Megan Thee Stallion, but she’s not a theater performer, maybe a stage performer. Arenas are a lot of things,” he explained during the livestream of the show.

However, the day after Charla made his first statements, he appeared to retract them. As The Shade Room previously reported, in a subsequent broadcast of the show, the radio host explained that Megan’s ticket sales seemed to confirm that she was an arena performer.
“Yesterday I asked the question: Is Megan Thee Stallion an arena performer? Cleary, we got the answer,” he said. “Jess just said she sold out 13 arena stops and I think I read over 240,000 tickets across North America and Europe. So yes, if you sell out arenas, you are an arena artist.”
