Trina McGee continues to open up about her recent pregnancy announcement and revealed that her adult children found out about her life updates online.

Trina McGee says her adult children found out about her pregnancy online
In an exclusive interview published PEOPLE On Monday, June 17, the 54-year-old explained that she was “shocked” to find out she was pregnant. However, at the time, she “didn’t think it was a big deal” and decided she would call her three adult children to tell them the news “later.”
The publication notes that McGee’s adult children are named Ramya, she is 31 years old; Langston, 29; and Ezra, who is 25 years old. The former Boy Meets World actress shares her children with her first husband, Courtland Davis.
“I posted something on Facebook. I didn’t think it was a big deal and said, ‘I’ll call the kids later,'” she remembers thinking. “They have grown up. They have their own lives.”
McGee explained that she usually talks to her children once a week. However, following the viral news, there is now “a lot more being said.”
“So I usually talk to them maybe once a week on Sundays,” she said. “Now we talk a lot more. Two of them found out about it through the media, and one got very angry. It was just a matter of a couple of hours of misses.”
Ultimately, the actor shared that she and her children are “all good now.” In addition, she explained that this incident brought them closer together.
“We’re fine now,” she said. “And it actually forced us all to really talk and be together.”

McGee said her husband Marcello Tedford “responded with such love” to her pregnancy.
“He’s just great. Yesterday he took me to see the deer and play in the yard just to calm me down,” she explained. “We put a lot of work into our marriage, so it’s good… The number one person who has supported me is my husband.”
In addition, her former Boy Meets World co-stars shared positive sentiments.
“They wished me well,” she explained. “I actually discussed the text with them a couple of weeks before it went public, and I told them… It wasn’t like, ‘I have to announce this,’ although I like to announce it to them. But yes, they are great!”

“At the tender age of 54, I discovered that I was pregnant. Please bless us with your prayers for a safe birth. Thank you,” she wrote.

Following her announcement, McGee received many reactions online. Many social media users left negative comments, noting her age. In response, McGee made it clear that she doesn’t pay too much attention to online chatter, according to The Shade Room.
