Joe Alwyn opens up about bonding with ‘Sweet, funny, brilliant’ Emma Stone

Joe Alwyn loves talking with a friend Emma Stone.

And after working together on Favorite and recently Types of KindnessThe couple developed a close friendship on the set.

“This is the best,” Joe exclusively said Eh! News about working with Emma. “Obviously everyone can see that she’s insanely, insanely talented, but she’s also just a sweet, funny, brilliant person.”

“I was really lucky,” he continued. “We’re all very lucky.”

And the 33-year-old was especially happy to be reunited with Emma (real name Emily Stone) and them Darling director of Types of Kindness, Yorgos Lanthimos.

“It’s good to hear, to go back to the faces you’ve worked with before,” he said. “So, Emily, I’ve worked before—and Yorgos, of course. And that’s the real familiarity that comes with trust.
