Pip Fitz-Amoby is on the case.
But this time her story will play out on screen in the form of a TV adaptation of her favorite book. A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder will be released on Netflix in August. And with recently released show trailerIt looks like the wait will be more than worth it.
A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder follows Pip (performed by Wednesday‘s Emma Myers) as she tries to solve the murder of her classmate Andie Bell (India Lilly Davis) happened five years earlier. Because although the police and the city believed it was a murder committed by Andy’s boyfriend Sal Singh (Rahul Pattni), Pip isn’t so sure.
And with Sal also dead, Pip will team up with his brother to try to clear his name.
But, as the series trailer shows, the closer Pip gets to the truth, the closer the danger becomes. Like Sal’s brother Ravi (Zain Iqbal) warns her: “If they find out you’re looking for them, isn’t there a chance they’ll come after you?”
And if the stampede through the woods, threatening text messages, warnings from the local police and tears shed in the trailer are any indication, Pip really needs to watch out.
