Gunna purifies the air where it stands Young Bandit‘s USL record label. Talking to RapCaviar On his “Day In The Life” show, the “damn” rapper opened up about his ties to the organization as people continue to speculate on problems between him and its founder.
“I’m still subscribed to YSL, I’m still providing services, as if we’re still insisting. They say that no documents have been changed; know what I’m saying. So no matter what’s going on and how we’re promoting it, it’s still going on,” Ganna said of his involvement with Young Stoner Life Records.
In April Gunna said XXL that his relationship with Thug remains “the same.” “It’s love, always. Our relationship is our relationship.” he added.
Details on Gunna’s former YSL case
Gunna agreed to a plea deal in late 2022 after Atlanta prosecutors jailed him on RICO charges earlier that year. He, along with Young Thug and 25 other people, tried the case on 56 counts. The indictment alleges that YSL was a gang called the Young Stoner Life. for the vulture.
After spending seven months behind bars, Ganna was released on December 14, 2022 after Alford admitted to racketeering conspiracy. Instead of five years, the court replaced his sentence with time served and assigned him 500 hours of community service. In addition, he had to agree to several YSL-related statements in court, including that “YSL is a music label and a gang, and [he] personally knows that YSL members or associates have committed crimes in support of the gang.”
After he accepted his plea, seven of the defendants also accepted pleas, according to Vulture. The publication reports that six defendants will stand trial, with several of them already in trial, the most notable and viral of which is the Thugger case.

After his release, Gunna maintained that he did not “snitch” on Thugger, making statements both through his lawyer and through music. He had also previously called for Thug’s release.
Most recently, Thugger’s father, Jeffrey Williams Sr., enjoyed Gunna’s performance in the front row and went viral about how he experienced it.
