Rachel Lindsay has reportedly responded to Bryan Abasolo’s request for spousal support
In accordance with TMZThe publication obtained “new legal documents” from Lindsay’s response to Abasolo’s request. The former “Bachelorette” star reportedly claims to earn about $61,000 a month. Additionally, she claims Abasolo earns about $13,400 a month.
Moreover, Lindsay reportedly stated that she is willing to pay her ex-husband $9,882 in monthly child support.
A brief account of the couple’s divorce so far
As previously reported by The Shade Room, Abasolo filed for divorce from Lindsay after four years of marriage in December 2023. At the time, it was reported that Abasolo was seeking spousal support from his ex.
In May, Abasolo reportedly doubled down on his request for spousal support, saying he wanted Lindsay to cover his legal costs. At the time, Abasolo reportedly claimed he only made $1,300 a month, which wasn’t enough to cover his ongoing expenses, according to The Shade Room.
A few weeks later, Lindsay reportedly asked a judge to dismiss Abasolo’s fee request, according to The Shade Room.
Now, according to TMZLindsay is also calling for restrictions on Abasolo’s claim that he only makes $1,300 a month. The publication reports that Lindsay “says she finds the number hard to believe.” Additionally, Lindsay reportedly claims that Abasolo also earns income from social media.
In addition, Lindsay also claims that Abasolo refused to move out of their shared home in Los Angeles or cover expenses while he was there.

As previously reported by The Shade Room, Lindsay admitted earlier this month that she regretted not signing a prenuptial agreement with Abasolo. Lindsay also urged the public to make sure they have one before tying the knot.
“We weren’t on the same page about prenuptial agreements, and I didn’t want it to become a big issue,” she said in an episode of the show.Hidden Gems with Natasha Parker‘ podcast. “Well, we didn’t have it. [But] Hindsight is 20/20, I would have done it. 1719595204…Everyone should have a prenuptial agreement…You never know what life will bring you…”
Last week, Lindsay also shared the advice she received from Tia Mowry during her split from Abasolo. As The Shade Room previously reported, Mowry filed for divorce from Cory Hardrict in October 2022. Their divorce was finalized in June 2023.
“She said, ‘Don’t look at the past, it will hold you back. Don’t look at the future, it will make you anxious. Stay in the present every day, because every day you get through it and you get stronger,'” Lindsay explained.
