Latto originally teased “Big Mama” earlier this month, sharing a short snippet of the music video on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The rapper’s single and visuals dropped on Friday, causing a stir on social media with users noting that it looked like something Drake would release. “Big Mama” begins with Latto singing and rapping about a nameless boo who she can’t get enough of. Many social media users were quick to point out Drake’s obvious influence on the record. Shortly after Latto’s record dropped, one X user @ovosojay1 wrote: “Drake’s impact on culture is UNMATCHED.” Latto quickly responded to the post, writing: “Drake is an asshole.”
