“I was really nervous,” Alexis said of this year’s comeback. “I even thought about not coming back because I knew what I was getting myself into. But I was also like, ‘Why am I not going to do what I want just because I’m dating someone else’s ex?’

However, Alexis, who left the show in 2013 after season eight, noted, “I didn’t know Shannon, so I wasn’t breaking girl code. I didn’t owe anyone anything or do anything to rub it in anyone’s face. It was literally timing, and that’s why it’s a reality show, because you can’t write that.”
