NLE Choppa Looks To Be Taking Shots At GloRilla
On June 30, NLE popped up at the 2024 BET Awards and gave an exclusive interview to the network. During the conversation, the rapper praised fellow Memphis host GloRilla.
“…Glo is burning… like fire – she’s got three shots in a row, and she’s probably got a few more in the lining, so she’s doing her job, too,” he said. “…She’s making the city beautiful.”
During the conversation, NLE added that Glo had “gotten a little fatter” and he had noticed it.
“Yo, I’ll let her know, man,” the rapper added, leaning forward toward the camera. “She’ll take another picture before I just get there with her.”
In response, the host shared a message for Glo, letting her know that she “really likes” NLE.
“She’s one post away from us,” NLE repeated.

Then, on Monday, July 8, Glo got down to business. Xformerly known as Twitter, shared several photos of herself wearing a black shirt and cropped shorts.

Hours later, NLE retweeted photos of GloRilla with a clip from his BET interview where he reiterated that Glo is “one post away” from him, apparently slipping into her DMs.

An hour later, GloRilla reacted to the NLE message with a short answer.

The rapper previously made headlines for recreating an iconic Tupac photo
This isn’t the first time NLE has seemingly sparked romance talk with a female rapper. As The Shade Room previously reported, the rapper went viral in February after popping up with what appeared to be a Chrisean Rock face tattoo.
At the time, NLE did not reveal whether his alleged tattoo was real or fake, which left some social media users debating whether he was joking or serious in his affection for The Rock.
In March, NLE spoke exclusively with The Shadow Room and revealed that a photo of him with Chris’ tattoo was photoshopped. The rapper also revealed that he thought the stunt would draw more attention to his recently released single with Lil Mabu.
NLE also revealed whether he contacted Rock to inform her of his plan before it was implemented.
