Ellen DeGeneres Opens Up About Being ‘Kicked Out of Show Business’ During New Comedy Tour
Ellen DeGeneres plans to simply continue to float away from Hollywood.
Former daytime talk show host opens up about life after graduation The Ellen DeGeneres Show during her stand-up performance in Santa Rosa, California, on July 1.
When one fan asked if he expected to see her on Broadway or the big screen in the near future, Ellen was quick to clarify the situation.
“Um, no,” she said, agreeing. SFGATE“This is the last time you’ll see me. After my Netflix special, I’ll be done.”
But the comedian is grateful for the time she spends on stage.
“Thank you for still caring!” Ellen said. “Let me tell you what’s been going on with me since you last saw me. I have chickens.”
She added: “Oh yeah, and I got kicked out of show business for being mean.”
Speculating that next time she would be “kicked out for being old,” Ellen joked: “Old, funny and mean – the triple crown.”
