Chile! Erica Mena did not restrain her ex-husband, Safari Samuelsthis week. In her latest criticism on Wednesday (July 10), she focused on his parenting skills – or perceived lack thereof.
Erica Mena Claims Safaree Hasn’t Seen Her Kids ‘For Months’
The Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star accused Samuels of barely seeing his kids despite living “30 minutes away.” And when they’re in his care, Erica said he can’t properly groom them or dress them. She shared photos of their son Legend’s fluffy braids and Safire’s messy ponytail to prove her point.
“You haven’t seen these babies by choice in months, and the last time you saw them was two months. You finally showed up to Legend’s birthday party – empty handed and NEVER offering to pay half for anything like you always do. You showed up for your quick photo opportunity with them every few months and left,” Erica Mena wrote on her Instagram story.
Mena explained that Safaree was spending time with the kids on Saturday (July 7) and that Legend’s braids “obviously… needed to be taken down.” However, their paternal grandmother and aunt were visiting, and Erica said she thought they would take care of her son’s hair. But no one did, despite the kids allegedly spending time in a chlorinated pool, she wrote.
“Sis @safaree you have no problem being a bad b*tch all the time. Why can’t my kids be dressed and groomed properly like you do when you have them? Part of being a bad b*tch is actually taking care of your kids so that’s where I draw the line… not grooming and dressing your kids properly every time you have them is honestly despicable.”
TV star continues to criticize Safaree’s upbringing and alleged lack of input
In a follow-up post, the mother of two discussed other recent instances where Safaree allegedly neglected the children. She said he gives them nothing except monthly child support. Additionally, Mena claims Safaree missed Christmas and his daughter’s birthday last year.
“…What you could at least do when you have it is be proud of it and actually put some effort into it. You have all this money that you tell the world about, and you have all these diamonds, but why is it that when you have kids, they walk around looking like this? Didn’t grandma and auntie feel the need to grab a hairbrush for your little ones, sis??
Another lengthy post accused the father of sending his children to summer camp after taking them into his care. Mena said it disrupted their routine. “If you were just going to drop them off to put them somewhere, why not drop them off at the school you helped pick but didn’t pay for??? But you barely see them, and it’s summer. Why don’t you spoil your kids you NEVER see…” she wrote.
Meanwhile, Samuels did not respond to Erica Mena’s call. last post There’s a video on his Instagram page of him and Safir pretending to be shocked. Just this week, it also popped up after Samuels opened up about his breakup with Nicki Minaj, which has had a major impact on his life.
